Architecture Committee Opening

The ECIA Architecture Committee has an opening and, lacking current female participation, is actively looking for a woman to fill this position. Any interested and qualified women should contact the ECIA at 466-4248.

 
Resident of the Year: Fred Raznick

In June 1977, Fred and Barbara Raznick brought their family to Santa Fe on a vacation, which they found was a very magical experience. They came back in March 1978 to see if it was still the same and moved here in June.

Board Election Results

On May 2, 2014, beginning at 9:00 AM, the Election Committee Tellers (Kathie Graham, Jean Crawford, Elizabeth Ebner, Joe Loewy, and Mary Cassidy), as per the Election Policy and Procedures  counted the ballots cast for the 2014 Board of Directors election.

Chicken Appeal
On May 28, the defendants in the so-called hens suit, ECIA v. Billings et.al., filed a notice of intent to appeal the ruling handed down by Judge Mark Macaron in the case.  In his decision, Judge Macaron found that the keeping of chickens as pets is not allowed by the Covenants of the Eldorado Community Improvement Association.  The defendants will have until June 27 to submit a statement laying out the issues upon which their appeal is based, after which records of the case will be forwarded to the Court of Appeals.
