New Volunteer Services Available in the Eldorado Area for Older Adults

Eldorado Neighbors Helping Neighbors, with the support of Santa Fe County Senior Services, is making the following services available in the greater Eldorado area:

Household Chores

  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Rolling trash and recycle containers to and from street
  • Taking glass to the Eldorado Transfer Station
  • Change ceiling light bulbs
  • Change smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector batteries
  • Light yard work
  • Minor repairs
  • Moving of bulky boxes and/or furniture
  • Snow shoveling around house and garage entry areas


  • Grocery shopping in Eldorado
  • Picking up or returning library books in Eldorado

Pet Care

  • Walking
  • Feeding


  • Check-in phone calls
  • Home visits


Referrals for other resources and services 

  • Meal delivery
  • Transportation
