  • ECIA Road Committee Liaison (Mel D’Amore, Board V.P.) and Road Committee Chairman (James A. Mason, Ph.D., P.E.).
  • Introductions - Facilitators and County Representatives
  • Objectives of Meeting.
    • The purpose and process of public comment is to provide direct communication between residents of Eldorado with the SF County Public Works Department staff. 
    • The focus of these discussions shall be about existing roads with Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) as the travel surface and the proposal to cover these surfaces with “chip seal”.
    • If time permits, there might be discussion about paving Cerrado Loop.
  • Ground Rules for Discussions.
    • Remember, the RC is an advisory group that presents information to the ECIA Board for their action on specific topics about roads in Eldorado.  We are here, that is the RC, to help formulate the particulars of your issue(s) with additional detail from us, based on our knowledge of roads and road construction, to make the best presentation and argument for the Board, and ultimately to the SF County Public Works.
    • All roads in Eldorado are owned and maintained by SFPW.
    • Discussions shall be cordial.  Yelling and vulgarities will not be tolerated. 

  1. Primary Topics Discussion by the Road Committee Chair with Public Works staff.
  • The chairman of the road committee has developed a series of questions which will cover anticipated concerns and other technical topics from residents living on RAP covered roads in Eldorado.

  1. Public Comments/Q & A to SF County PW staff.
  • State your name, address, and other contact information.
  • Limit to 2 minutes per resident
  • Explain the issues related to the road where you reside.
  • Answer any typed questions which have not been addressed

Q & A will be promptly closed at 7:45pm.
