With over 13 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, she served as the Regional Director of Revenue Management for renowned brands such as Hilton and Marriott. In this capacity, Julie demonstrated exceptional acumen in financial management, playing a pivotal role in creating budgets and ensuring the financial stability of the properties under her purview.

After exiting the stage, a professional opera singer like Mike transitions to various roles and pursuits. Mike and his wife relocated to Santa Fe, embarking on a new chapter in their lives. With a distinguished career predominantly in opera, Mike’s tenure included membership in the esteemed San Francisco Opera Chorus, an engagement he cherished deeply. Additionally, he performed leading roles in renowned regional opera houses along the West Coast, notably relishing his portrayal of Escamillo, the charismatic toreador in Carmen.

Throughout his professional journey, Mike also embraced diverse responsibilities, with one notable role being his tenure as a park ranger at the Ken Caryl Ranch HOA in Littleton, CO. Over five years, he spearheaded the maintenance of over 5,000 acres of pristine open space and meticulously managed more than 25 miles of hiking trails. Mark Young brings over 15 years of dedicated service to the Eldorado Community Improvement Association (ECIA) in his role as Architectural and Covenant Compliance Coordinator.

Educated at the University of Vermont, College of Natural Resources, Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Outdoor Recreation Management and Environmental Studies. Prior to joining the ECIA in 2009, he amassed extensive experience in both the Hospitality Services Industry and the Outdoor Apparel Industry.

During his time in Vermont, Mark served as a commissioner with the Shaftsbury Vermont Planning Commission, where he discovered a passion for collaborating with community members and industry professionals to uphold regulatory frameworks and preserve the natural splendor of small-town environments.

Motivated by his admiration for the Southwest’s natural beauty and the diverse cultural tapestry of the Santa Fe Area, Mark eagerly seized the opportunity to join the ECIA. Over the past decade, he has embraced the challenges of his role, finding fulfillment in contributing to the enhancement and preservation of the Eldorado community.

His multicultural upbringing, with his father hailing from Bolivia, afforded him the opportunity to immerse himself in the rich traditions of that country. Raymi returned to Santa Fe in 2023 after a brief stint in Bolivia, where he met and married the love of his life. Now settled as full-time residents of Santa Fe, they eagerly anticipate starting a family and continuing to embrace the city’s vibrant culture.
